Ollie’s Christening
Ollie’s Christening was our first event. I worked closely with Ollie’s parents to provide a beautiful setting for a special occasion. A venue had already been chosen, so I visited with Ollie’s mum to discuss what kind of decoration she wanted and how she wanted to venue to feel. We utilised the furniture that the venue already had and used it to our advantage, creating a focal point on the stage for the cake and hot chocolate cones for the guests to take away. I like to ensure my clients receive a personalised experience for each event, and so for Ollie and his family, I created a personalised guest book that was gifted to his parents on the day. Every friend and family member was able to leave a message to Ollie, creating a keepsake full of memories for his parents and a book full of heartfelt messages for him.
Ellie’s First Birthday
As a mum myself, I understand the importance of your little one’s first birthday. Emma wanted a unicorn theme for Ellie’s birthday, to continue on from a beautiful bump portrait she’d had done. Using feminine pastel colours, I tied the decorations together with gold accenting, in traditional unicorn style. From a bespoke feature table including a time capsule and hand-crafted flowers, to a glittering ‘selfie wall’, this event was pretty, girly and full of memories.
Sam’s First Birthday
This event was extra-special for me as it was my youngest son’s birthday. I wanted to create a cute but masculine event, and so selected a ‘Little Man’ theme. Using more masculine shapes and shades, I crafted eye-catching bunting to decorate my home and garden. To save Happy Birthday messages from friends and family, I created a canvas for our guests to record their wishes. This is a beautiful way to capture those first ‘Happy Birthdays’ and now hangs in his room to be treasured forever.
Harper & Gabriella’s Christening
This was my first full venue dress and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Fiona had done a fantastic job creating and sourcing all the decorations for her girls’ special day and had a clear vision of how she wanted her event to look and feel. I met with Fiona a few weeks before the event at the venue to discuss the dynamics of the event and how to make the best of the space.On the day, I took care of all aspects of the dressing. From coordinating deliveries of soft play equipment, balloons, and a unicorn cart for the main centrepiece to the little finishing touches, this event look spectacular. With me taking care of creating the event Fiona had imagined, it meant she was able to enjoy the special moments without any stress or worry.
Ruby’s First Birthday
Emma contacted me with a clear vision as to what she wanted for her daughter’s first birthday. I worked with her to find suitable suppliers and source those finishing touches. With a little nod to Halloween, the event had bold use of rose gold, accented with pastel pinks and greens. The end result was a charmingly feminine, one-of-a-kind event. Ruby had a wonderful first birthday that her parents were able to enjoy without worry.
